This is a demonstration of how an outdoor cat enclosure could look and work. The setup is suitable for multiple cats. With just the right number of beds available, it could easily accommodate 15 cats. The abundance of shelving and various resting spots allows for a choice to suit individual preferences.

Some cats will seek corner shelves that offer views of everything around, while others will snuggle up on hammocks or sleep on the bridge.

The setup works great for cats of normal size and for smaller ones.

The current layout is set up for active cats of all ages, but if you have elderly cats or those with mobility issues, the setup can be made safe and accessible by adding ramps and a higher railing.

In the displayed configuration, it can cover 3 walls of a 4x5m (13.1' x 16.4') area, but the elements can be rearranged in different combinations.

We encourage people to make spaces that they will share with their cats, which often leads to more playful designs and a space filled with cat enrichment and soft furnishings. The space should be welcoming, with cat-friendly plants, maybe a water feature, and some decorative lights to set the evening mood.

The setup provides cats with enough space for all activities.

We tried distributing the activities on all the catio walls to be approximately the same so that every side had a scratching post, enough spaces to run and walk, and ample space to perch, lounge, and sleep. The vertical spaces are filled from top to bottom. There is enough space to move uninterruptedly.

Catio Tunnels of different kinds, Catio Loft, and Stacker leave space for perching, playing, and resting. With comfortable cushions and openings on multiple sides that leave plenty of options for catching the best views and enough entry points for everyone to feel safe.

There's a door in the corner of the catio, the space without cat furniture. The shelves surrounding it are catio tunnel and stacker units with beds. We've opted for the kinds that would be places of rest and didn't cram that area with furniture, to prevent cats from bolting from an activity shelf through the doors and outside.

All the cat wall houses have large windows on both sides to maximize the views and give your cats full views of all of the surroundings. All the items are designed for outdoor use. They are UV, water, and mold resistant. The construction is made out of waterproof birch plywood, which is sanded down to smooth and has multiple coats of outdoor acrylic paint to protect it from the elements. All the fabrics used are outdoor safe and won't fade in the sun. They can be machine-washed or wiped with a damp cloth. All the tops of the shelves are covered in artificial grass, as this has proven to be the most loved by cats and easiest to maintain. We use high-quality long pile grass that is soft under the paws and doesn't fray.

⚠️On the preview, most of the items are mounted on the mesh; this is only doable in metal enclosures with hard-welded mesh that can carry the weight. The Catio Walkways and the bases of spin posts are attached to the structure.

Everything can be made to measure and fully customized. It is important we know what you're working with to provide the best mounting options, as our outdoor furniture can be mounted onto wooden beams, hard-welded mesh, or walls.

There are 3 scratching posts, two of which can be mounted at any angle, to give cats more options for play.

Our posts are extra durable, covered with 12mm thick PP rope that comes in white, beige, black, blue, green, red, or yellow.

⛳️The top is covered with high-quality artificial grass carpet as standard. The artificial grass is a stimulating environment for a cat. We've chosen high-quality thick grass that is soft to the touch and doesn't shed. It's durable, resilient, yet comfortable and safe.

💩The carpeting options are artificial grass or a thick, hard carpet with outdoor padding. They're not absorbent, so urine and puke stains do not represent a problem. They're easy to clean as you can just wash them with a sponge or a damp cloth. They're not glued in, but securely stapled. This means they can eventually be replaced, but should last for years.

The carpet is mildew, abrasion, fire, chemical, and sunlight resistant and designed not to fry around the edges.

🔨 There are multiple options for mounting. It can be hung on a hard welded mesh construction, on a wall, or on some kind of wooden or metal frame post or horizontal bracket. Mounting hardware will be included in the package. Let us know what type of mount you want us to ship.
