Cat ramp for cats with disabilities, impairments, obesity, and degenerative issues. The ramp can be used by all cats, but this version is wide and goes with our other products from the Wobbly section.

It can also be attached to any other piece of furniture(best to contact us before purchase to make sure we find the best solution for your mount).

The wobbly ramp has safety features like a raised railing and thick non-slip carpet with horizontal ridges for extra grip.

Special needs cats are a joy to have although they need some extra care and attention.
Making things accessible for our disabled or impaired cats can be a daunting job, especially when knowing how physical movement can enrich their lives and entice them to feel and move better.

Most of the cats that will be using the ramp are climbers, with strong front paws and muscles. So having something to grip on is important.

The carpet is stapled securely to the ramp's wood construction, which keeps it firmly in place and keeps the option of exchanging the carpet in the future. The carpet is thick and extra durable but can get damaged over time with cats that latch onto it constantly.
Having rails is also great if your cat has vision impairments.

The slope should depend on the severity of your cat's issues. From about 18° to approximately 26°. A gentle slope is great for cats with degenerative issues, for those who are no longer able to jump and need some support to get around.

We've seen firsthand how arthritis sets a senior cat back, keeping the cat away from the places that were once loved, especially to a window ledge.

The standard length is from 60cm/23.6''-110cm/43.31'', but custom options are available as everything is made to order.

Hygiene is extra important and everything can be disinfected and wiped down with a damp cloth. The carpet doesn't absorb moisture, has a thick rubber backing, and is UV light resistant.

Overweight and obese cats - Chonk friendly ramp

The width of the ramp is also great for overweight or obese cats as their stance is wide and they need space for moving around. The ramp could entice your chonk cat to move more. The railing will provide extra support, keeping their legs from slipping over as they can not see, nor control their oversized bodies.

Cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia(CH) / Wobbly cat syndrome /Ataxia

The railing will keep a cat with CH/Wobbly cat syndrome safe. They have a wide stance with erratic movements, they seem to be trotting or prancing because they have a high-step and their heads wobble. All these symptoms of ataxia/difficulty walking may seem like a great obstacle for a cat, but you're giving them a dedicated and safe space to adapt and overcome all the obstacles.
The carpeting will help maintain balance, especially if it's a longhaired cat that has extra difficulties balancing because of those long hairs between their toes.
Creating cat accessible spaces will help them in the long run, they will become more active as their muscles grow and they learn how to cope with their disability.

Cats with limited mobility

If your cat is a paraplegic, paralyzed, or has lost a leg, this ramp will provide with enough space for free movement. The carpet is soft enough for a paraplegic cat to not get abrasions from dragging its feet and body.
If your cat is suffering and recovering from a Feline aortic thromboembolism(FATE)/ Saddle Thrombus creating a pathway using Flat shelves and ramps will entice the cat to move. Depending on the number of limbs affected and how the cat is handling pain management and therapy, it may be a great way to start both physical and mental recovery. Note: not all cases of FATE are the same, listen to your veterinarian, and stick to the prescribed regime.

This is made for an indoor setup but could be made using our outdoor finishes for an outdoor run.
