This bunny rabbit castle is the perfect kingdom for your bun or a guinea pig.
It's elegant and could go great with your décor style and color palette. This setup has two towers with attached carpeted ramps for easy access. The middle section is a bunny tunnel with an opening in the middle of the front. The tunnel has a railing on the top but is at a height where the bun can safely hop on and off.
The towers have small windows on the sides, which are super cute when the bun decides to stick out its nose there. This is a 2 storey tower with a fenced-in watching deck on top.
The towers and the tunnel form a long bunny den at the bottom, like a burrow, with entrances on the sides. As the buns are prey animals by nature, they feel safer when they have options for bolting and do not feel trapped.
The castle will provide great enrichment, giving them a secure space, an area for zoomies while playfully chasing one another and the tunnel will be the main area for flopping and catching some Zzz's(those when you yell to check if they are breathing, as you forgot to breath for a sec. Happens to all of us).
This is renter-friendly, as it can be moved easily and gives your buns extra vertical space without taking more of your floor space. Living with bunnies in smaller quarters can be tough, but very doable with a few space-saving solutions such as this one.
As this is a bespoke, made-to-order item, all the elements can be fully customized for your setup. The openings could be closed off or they could be open on the back. The options are endless.
In our home, the perch at the top of the towers would be occupied by cats and we would probably add cushions there. Also, cushions could be added on/in the castle and carpet on any level you like.
If you're worried about pee accidents, we could put it all on small plastic legs just to pull it up a bit, although the wood is protected.
The standard setup is made for indoor use, but we can make the outside version as well(just contact us before to make the adjustments. We already have a version of outdoor cat furniture with all the tested paints and materials).
This version is with two accent colors and the base in natural birch. Everything could be made in one color, or mixed and matched to your needs. You can choose from our standard colors or pick a custom color or three, that best suits your space.
The construction is made out of high-quality birch plywood, using 10 and 18 mm thick wood. It's sturdy, made without any glue, and built to last. Everything is held together with screws.
This setup is easy to assemble and disassemble. The towers and the tunnel fit into one another and have an extra jig inside to lock them in fully.
The towers, the tunnel, and the ramps come fully assembled, just need to click with one another. It all comes in two boxes, you just have to screw in the ramps to already predrilled holes and stack the items in a row. It's a 5-minute job max, and we include the screws and the drill bit for it. It's just 4 small screws, but if you have any trouble at all, please ask us for help.
Bonus: The castle is also a great playground for kittens. It's easily accessible, but not tall enough for the youngsters to get hurt during their shenanigans.
