Catio BigCat Tunnel is a multifunctional outdoor cat shelf designed and reinforced to accommodate cats of all sizes, especially larger cats.
The Tunnel has large window openings on both sides but could have a back plate fully enclosed(standard for wall mounting). The large windows are great for enrichment, as cats can have a full view of everything inside the catio and out.
It comes with artificial grass on top and with 2 pillows for comfort. In the standard setup, only one pillow is attached inside and the other could be an extra or could be mounted on the top shelf(just as on the indoor Wally Tunnel).
There are multiple entry points on all sides, which makes it a great activity area.
It can easily hold 6 cats comfortably, but the bearing has more to do with the structure where it will be mounted. It could be a wall, welded thick mesh, or a horizontal or vertical frame. If you're uncertain about the mounting style, send us a message with a picture or two.
As everything is made-to-order, your outside tunnel could be optimized for your space in any way you need.

The top is covered with high-quality artificial grass carpet as standard. The artificial grass is a stimulating environment for a cat. We've chosen high-quality thick grass that is soft to the touch and doesn't shed. It's durable, resilient, yet comfortable and safe.
The carpeting options are artificial grass or a thick hard carpet with outdoor padding. They're not absorbent, so urine and puke stains do not represent a problem. They're easy to clean as you can just wash them with a sponge or a damp cloth. They're not glued in, but securely stapled. This means they can eventually be replaced, but should last for years.
The carpet is mildew, abrasion, fire, chemical, and sunlight resistant and designed to not fray around the edges.

🔨 There are multiple options for mounting. It can be hung on a hard welded mesh construction, on a wall, or on some kind of wooden or metal frame post or horizontal bracket. Mounting hardware will be included in the package. Let us know what type of mount you want us to ship.
