🦸♂️They're extremely strong as they are 3x reinforced, designed to withstand the impact of cats jumping on and off. They are connected first with glued biscuit joints, then come the pocket hole joints that we fill up, cover up and sand down to perfection, then everything is once again reinforced by the 2 screws on each side of the hex to the back mounting plate. They are extremely time-consuming to make but look beyond awesome.

Our Hex shelves come fully assembled and ready to install.
It's extremely sturdy, as it's mounted at 6 points on two adjacent walls and made out of 18mm thick ultra-strong birch plywood with multiple connection points and a 9mm thick backplate.
Cushions and carpet runners are available from the seller in standard dimensions.

All you will need is a power drill with an 8mm or 5/16" drill bit.
The shelf will be attached to the wall using screws through the back mounting plate.
