We have started showcasing bundles as a way to represent what a catified space could look like. We had a space between a balcony and a door in the hallway. Unused space that had some potential. As this is a high-traffic area, that also has a good look on the stairway and the outdoors we decided to catify it.
We used some of our bestsellers as the base for everything. We opted for carpeted stairs as we have cats of different builds, ages, and needs. The carpet gives them extra grip, and since we're a multicat household(up to 30 cats at a time), this was the best option.
We've centered everything around the stacker unit. We chose the standard dimension as we didn't want it to take up too much space, and as we know even our biggest cats could still use it. We put the steps on the right side, so we don't bump into them while walking out of the adjacent room on the right, and because there's a power outlet on that side. In a perfect scenario, there would be a cat scratching post on that side.
We put a simple Wally Flat shelf on the top right side, and put 2 Wally Flora shelves to give cats some enrichment. We switch out the plants regularly, as they get eaten pretty fast. The ones we choose are cat grass and spider plants.
We've put a Wally Tunnel Mini on the top left position as we knew which cats would be mostly using it. The timid ones see it as a place of their own mostly. They snuggle inside the tunnel and no-one can enter or approach them from a different size. That way they have everything and everyone under control.
We would usually say that this setup is great for 1-6 cats, but there are often 10-12 using it at our house. Usually, there are 3 to 4 in the Stacker, mostly one in the tunnel, one on the left flat shelf, and a couple on the steps, as the steps are big enough to lay on them.
This is just an example of how a space could work.
