Shelter animals need much more to stay healthy and feel safe, and it's our responsibility to give them as much structure and safety as we can.
The more comfortable the cats get, the more likely are they to find their forever homes.
Our aim was to create a great design that's easy to maintain and disinfect. That's why we've worked really hard on finding the best wood finishes that can withstand sometimes heavy disinfectants and daily cleaning. Our furniture is heavily tested and optimized for easy maintenance.
Some of are elements come with carpet runners for better traction. Although they're heavy-duty hard carpets with rubber bottoms but for shelter use we recommend options without them. If your running more of a boutique shelter with fewer cats then it should be alright, but for shelters with a larger number of everchanging cats, we recommend options that can be disinfected daily if needed.
Everything can be wiped clean and cushions and hammocks are all machine-washable and dryer-safe. Also, replacement cushions and hammocks are available. The fabric materials we're using are lush and soft heavy-duty materials made for use in furniture making.
We're also working on outdoor furniture and have waterproof canvas fabric that's good for shelter use (as we do not have it yet in our shop, please ask for them and we'll show you what's available ATM).
Donations to shelters:
All our furniture that was damaged or slightly scraped, has some minor imperfections like sort of bruising or slight color spills, but is in good enough condition to be used, is donated to local NGOs and foster homes.
Some of the shelters we have collaborated with include:
9 Lives NGO, Osijek, Croatia
Young At Heart Senior Pet Rescue, Woodstock, IL, USA
JerseyCats, New Jersey, USA
