🏰 This rabbit castle is made with a lot of play in mind. This setup has 4 turrets/towers, 2 large tunnels, 2 bridges, and 2 ramps.
Two towers are connected with a tunnel in between creating a 131cm long corridor for play. There are multiple entry points, which is crucial for buns to feel safe as they are prey animals.
The hole layout can be changed on request. The back tunnel has an exit to the "courtyard" or should we call it "town's square", while the front one has an exit to the courtyard and front.
The buns can run in circles on both the bottom and mid level. The mid level has railing on the tunnels and bridges. There are railed-in observatories on each of the turrets.
The bridges and ramps are carpeted for some extra grip. All walkable surfaces can be carpeted as a custom option. The levels are short enough for a bunny to safely jump on and off.
Our castles are modern, with clean lines, and can be customized to fit your space and color palette. They're extra sturdy, made out of 18 and 10mm birch plywood and assembled using screws (most bunny furniture is made from 3-6mm ply or far too many cases seen using toxic MDF). The big parts come assembled and click together forming a fortress, the bridges and ramps need to be screwed in in the pre-drilled holes. The whole assembly shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes max. We provide all the screws, drill bits, and installation guide, and if anything isn't clear or you need a bit of help just reach out.
Most buns won't try eating the construction, as the smooth painted finish isn't too interesting for them. And also the thickness of the material makes it a challenge for some.
It's easy to maintain and can be disinfected and wiped down with a damp cloth. Bunnies can be messy and daily cleaning is a chore, as bunny servants ourselves we wanted everything to be as easy to maintain as possible.
This setup is great for homes with multiple bunnies, it may also act as two independent castle sets with ramps if you ever need to keep your buns separated. It's ideal for smaller buns, but we offer the same setup in a large breed size.
This specific bundle was created with our two buns in mind, Iggy & Kiwi. They share everything with cats and love to steal popular locations from them, which means that all the accessible cat furniture is theirs. They are vastly outnumbered by cats but are more territorial and dangerous. The cats stay away if they don't want their whiskers to be eaten. Buns have taken over all the cat tunnels and houses that are on lower levels, so the castle setup with two extra-long corridors is a perfect setup for them.
🌈This version is with two accent colors and the base in natural birch. Everything could be made in one color, or mixed and matched to your needs. You can choose from our standard colors or pick a custom color or three, that best suits your space.
🔧This setup is easy to assemble and disassemble. The towers and the tunnel fit into one another and have an extra jig inside to lock them in fully.
🐈Bonus: The castle is also a great playground for kittens. It's easily accessible, but not tall enough for the youngsters to get hurt during their shenanigans.
